Documentation

Using JointMetriX3D the actual condition of a construction is comprehensively recorded. By generating large panoramic images (100 Megapixel) with the JMX PanoramaScanner also fine details are retained. The 360° field of view eases to establish a relationship between a detail (a damage) and the construction itself.

Details from the main image show the high resolution.

The JMX PanoViewer software allows a comfortable inspection and assessment of the panoramas. By a touch of a button ones clicks through a series of overlapping images enabling a quick analysis of the current status. Graphical overlays document visible damages. This way maps for future inspections are created on which an eventual damage progress is marked.

A typical application is within existing tunnels.

  • Gapless documentation by overlapping panoramas
  • Optimisation of the data for the conservation of evidence
  • Fine details (cracks) visible – due to the high resolution down to the sub-millimeter range
  • Clear allocation of a damage location to the construction
  • Production of maps for future inspections
  • Repeated imaging captures damage progress
