Products & Services

3G Software & Measurement develops and markets systems for three-dimensional acquisition and assessment of rock, terrain, and object surfaces using digital imagery and computer vision. Based on 3D imaging and purpose-built software components, solutions are provided for geotechnics, engineering geology, blast engineering, and surveying primarily applied in mining, tunnelling, and general rock engineering.

	JointMetriX3D Unrivalled 100 megapixel metric (scaled) 3D images allow detailed acquisition of large areas serving as basis for further assessments. The included 3D assessment software JMX Analyst allows to gain geometrical measurements , to perform geological mapping , and to provide the basis for geotechnical analysis . This way large areas (5, 10, 100 hectares) from large distances (5 - 1.500 m) are geometrically acquired and combined with high resolution image information. more...
	ShapeMetriX3D Innovative measurement system using three-dimensional images. Photos are taken with a pre-calibrated off-the-shelf camera that is made a measuring instrument by software from 3G Software & Measurement. Photos are taken freehand without surveying of camera positions . For assessment purposes the same 3D software can be used as with the JointMetriX3D system. 	BlastMetriX3D System for bench face surveying (profiling) based on ShapeMetriX3D technology including blast planning . Besides precise geometry of the bench face the system provides also with a plan of drill pattern, profiles for every drill holes (distribution of burden), as well as minimum burden information. Precise knowledge on the geometry of a blast site allows reducing fly rock and blast vibrations, as well as cutting costs for drilling and blasting. more...
	Software components / special packages Our systems consist of a suite of software components that can be purchased individually and combined with each other. Your ShapeMetriX3D can be extended to a BlastMetrIX3D system and vice versa. Please let us inform you on other special packages.
	Data acquisition as a service We do complete measurement campaigns using our equipment. Usually resulting 3D images are provided together with a 3D software component allowing customers to do the analyses themselves. Results can be interfaced with standard applications such as CAD. more...
