A digital panoramic camera aquires two high quality images of the rock face (stereoscopic image pair) from
which a highly detailed (e.g. 30 MPixel) 3D image is computed.
Behind it stands the fusion of digital image processing, photogrammetry, and computer graphics together with
data management skills.
